Dr Tonge is Senior Partner at Peterloo Medical Centre and Director of the HMR Primary Care Academy.

HMR Primary Care Academy is the vision of Dr Gill Tonge, and is commissioned by NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group.

The Academy is in innovative solution to addressing the ongoing difficulty in recruiting, developing and retaining GPs, Practice Nurses and Primary Care Staff in HMR.
