  • Advanced Practitioner

080fd6ee-3ef9-4fac-9a27-325016259716 < Back Advanced Practitioner Advanced Practitioners are an integral part of the 21st century NHS workforce as new models of care are transforming the way patients are treated. Advanced Practitioners work at level 7 across the four pillars of advanced practice – clinical, management & leadership, research & education, and offer multiple benefits to the health service and the population. They bring more holistic care to patients, support continuity of care and extend the scope of practice across traditional boundaries. This leads in turn to a greater focus on prevention, more personalised care, a more efficient team, a faster response to patient needs and better outcomes. They are instrumental in supervising the multi-professional team in primary care, they attract and lead research and audits, and manage highly complex high-risk patients. They have a leadership role in the ICS around pathways and population health. www.hee.nhs.uk Welcome - Advanced Practice Building a recognised and visible advanced practitioner workforce is a priority for the NHS; there is a clear and identified need for highly experienced clinicians who are trained to an advanced level of practice. A huge well done to our SMHP Jake and team for the immense efforts and dedication with integrating the new Mental Health Living Well Service model for the patients of Pennines PCN. This is an invaluable service which has provided a huge amount of capacity in an area which our GP Practices alone could not match the demand. Your service has not only proven its benefit with our patients, but has massively relieved the strain on our general practitioners and GP Practice staff. • Healey Dell Nature Reserve

5 Back Healey Dell Nature Reserve Only a couple of miles from Rochdale town centre, Healey Dell is in dense woodland on the tight banks of the tumbling River Spodden. Here the river has hewn a sharp gorge, and bubbles over rapids and waterfalls that once drove, corn, wool and cotton mills. Best of all though is the Victorian viaduct spanning the gorge. This was built in 1867 for a long-defunct railway and is a fantastic viewpoint 30 metres over the river. Faint traces of industrial archaeology await along the river at what’s left of the Broadley Wood Mill, Stone Rubbing Mill and Th’Owd Mill l’th Thrutch. Previous Next
