
Creating New Users
As a Practice/Network Tenant Manager, you can create user accounts within the PCAT system.
To manually create a user account, follow these steps:
Go to the Quick-access menu > Users.
Click Create user.
Complete the compulsory fields (marked with an asterisk).
Username - Please use their email address for this
Choose an authentication method - Manual
Generate password and notify user - Checked
First name
Surname
Email address - Must be added, for logging in & password resets
Select Expand All from the top-right-hand side of the page to view all available fields for the user profile.
Goto Other Fields (Bottom), fill in:
Job Role - Select the most appropriate
Clinical - Tick appropriate
Prescriber - Tick appropriate
Staff Type - Regular or Bank
Network - If the user is Network-based
Practice - Choose the Practice most dominant or Blank for a Network user
Manager - Name of Manager
Manager's Email Address - Manager's Email
Second Manager - If appropriate
Second Manager's Email Address - If appropriate
Select Save and View to save the new user and go to their profile, or Save and go back to save the new user and return to the list of users.
