How to Add External Certificates to Your Evidence Bank

A quick walkthrough on how to upload evidence to your profile if external training has been completed

Follow these steps:


Submit Evidence Item in Evidence Bank


  1. Navigate to https://primarycareacademytraining.com/totara/dashboard/index.php?id=41

  2. Click "Your profile Name"

  3. Choose "Profile"

  4. Click "Evidence bank"

  5. Click "Add evidence item"

  6. Click "Add External Training" in the dropdown

  7. Click "Use this type"

  8. In the "Evidence name" field, type the "Certificate name" (This is the same as the Certificate name, but used for reporting...)

  9. Choose the best option for the "Type of Training" option.

  10. Type the "Certificate name" here too

  11. Select the date of completion from the calendar.

  12. Click the "Enable" field, if the certificate has an expiry date

  13. Select the expiry date from the calendar, if you have one

  14. In the "Certificate issued by" field, enter the company that issued the certificate

  15. Make sure this is ticked if all information is correct

  16. You can drag and drop the certificate in this box here.

  17. or

  18. Click here...

  19. Click the "Choose file in the Attachment" field.

  20. Find and select the certificate file on your system

  21. Click "Upload this file"

  22. Either way, it will be shown here.

  23. Click the "Save evidence item" button.

  24. If all has been done correctly, you will see the: Evidence item "Your Certificate Name" was created notification.

  25. It will be listed in your Evidence Bank now.




Now it should show within your Evidence Bank area; this doesn't remind you when the completion date is due, this would be up to you or your manager.
