Sam is more than our practice secretary. She goes above and beyond to track down letters, referrals, results and goes above and beyond to help patients to navigate a really tricky system. She does all of this with a smile on her face and is so calm and helpful that the patients can't help but beam about her. She really does make my job of referring patients so much easier, she is always happy to find the right place, the right form or even to type my ranty emails and collect the replies!

I strongly feel this award should go to Sue as I believe her commitment to the role she has is so admirable given it is an extremely difficult area to manage logistically and mentally due to so many moving parts/ changes in circumstances.

I have worked with many people and organisations that manage the coordination of services and I know this is not an easy task to manage, however, Sue is just built differently and still does it with a smile on her face, which I have not seen before and is a first for me haha.

Alex has joined the practice as a new nurse having never worked in general practice before. Her transaction to primary care has been extremely smooth due Alex's enthusiasm and can do attitude. Alex is already our cancer and palliative care clinical lead and the feedback from patients and family has been outstanding!
Alex has been driven mad by the smear taking training but has been so pro-active in trying to accomplish this.
Alex really is a breath of fresh air, who is loved by her team and patients. Although don't ask her any directions anywhere!

Alina is a delight to the practice, she joined the practice and has shown enthusiasm in her work and she has a desire to learn and grow. she is a listener and takes things on board. keep it up Alina.

Stefan has always contributed greatly to staff engagement groups and newsletters for RHA. He goes above and beyond to ensure the wider Rochdale Health Alliance team are up-to-date with Heywood PCN and is passionate about the work they do.

Sue has worked so so hard to make the Access Service what it is today. She has worked tirelessly day and night put in extra hours at the weekend and still comes into the team with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
She has great relationships with the bank staff and all value her just as much as our team does.
She is very passionate about the clinics that are held and ensuring patients have the best experience they can.
Sue worked so hard on introducing Cytology into the service and we are all so proud of her every day.
She makes us smile so much and is always there for us whether its a bad or good day.
