My team are literally the most amazing individuals and together they are unstoppable. Nothing is too much trouble for our patients and they truly are an excellent first impression to the practice. The workload has increased tenfold and the quality of the service they provide has not been affected. They are passionate about being the best they can do.. and I could'nt possibly nominate one person as they truly are ONE !!

Nazia is a delight to the practice, she is a listener and takes things on board. Always happy to help everyone with a big smile on her face. keep it up Nazia.

The reception team at Peterloo Medical Centre are a team of absolute super stars - They have been through a lot in the last 12 months, including lots of significant practice changes e.g. using a brand new appointment system and educating patients on how to use it, along with PATCHS, NHS App promotion and all its tweaks and changes, plus learning a brand new telephone system. In the midst of all that we lost a few staff members out of the team so at some points were extremely short staffed and yet the team banded together and soldiered on covering shortages between them, and just supporting each other throughout. every single one of them deserve this award because they are an incredible team.

We have a team of 8 lovely ladies who always go above and beyond for our patients. Like everyone else who will be nominated, their work is difficult and pressured but our 'girls' are just simply the best.

Paula is an integral part of our team who somehow puts up with all of our madness. She is crazy enough to be at the practice every morning at 6am and manages to get everything organised so it's not overwhelming when the rest of us arrive at surgery in the morning. She is also an excellent phlebotomist and has helped us administer COVID vaccinations.

I have worked across many surgeries and I have to say that the team at Pennine always go above and beyond. They never react to even the harshest of interactions when patients are unwell frustrated and angry and remain ever professional. They aim to help out where they can and often are able to sort out problems at source which are more social or administrative despite the patients' insistence on speaking the doctors about them. They guide and comfort and also have amazing clinical acumen for non clinicians - able to point out a regular patient who may look unwell , even in the local supermarket! and get them booked in. They help those who are frail and elderly to navigate a difficult system of bookings referrals results etc and they always look after us clinicians - they protect us so we can look after the unwell and take a lot of the brunt of the frustration themselves as well as keeping me fed and watered. I am super proud of our amazing reception team at Pennine.

Samara is new to primary care and has taken the role on with great care and determination. I have seen samara excel in her role with us at Trinity Medical Centre and will always go above and beyond for patients and also staff. Samara is a great asset to our team and I would like to put her forward for this award for this reason.
